Bali Kites Festival 2004

 The annual Bali Kites Festival is just about to start. This 26th festival will take place on 22-25th July 2004 at Padang Galak Beach. There will be approximately 600 participants from banjar adat all over Bali. This 4-day festival will start at 08.00 and finish at 15.00. The Festival Details
The festival is divided into three criteria: traditional kites, innovation kites and kober (group's flag). Each participant should follow the festival dress code, that is, wearing the pakaian adat. The minimum number of people for each group is 15.
| Getting There
Padang Galak is about 30 minutes driving from the Ngurah Rai airport. If you stay at Nusa Dua, it takes 45 minutes driving and from Ubud about 40-50 minutes driving. The most convenience place will be Sanur, it's only 10 minutes driving to Padang Galak.
|  What to bring
You need to bring mineral water since the weather can be very hot there. Don't forget to bring your camera. There are a lot of beautiful kites and other exciting activities to shoot.
