MT. ABANG SUNRISE TREKKING
This old 2153 m high mountain, on the eastern side of the crater southeast of Penelokan, is the highest point on Batur's outer crater, also the second highest mountain in Bali. The climb up and back from the trailhead take about 5 hours. At the top is "Puncak Tuluk Biyu Temple" the view from the top is sensational, really spectacular view overlooking Lake Batur, Mt. Rinjani on Lombok and Volcano Agung ( the view depending on the weather ).

From the summit you can see Pura Besakih, Mt. Rinjani on Lombok, to the east and Singaraja and the whole noth coast ( the view depending on the weather )
