Bali Childrens Home:

In 2003, we opened our first Bali Children's Home, in Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia. Our goals for this home are to provide children indirectly effected by the Bali Bombing on Oct 2002 with a home where they can come at any time to eat and enjoy handicraft and other activities. At first this home was only to provide temporary day facilities for the children, but as the need arose we also found the home-accepting children on a full time basis.

In October 2002, the Bali Blast hit the economy as tourist cancellations empties the island. Both of income and livelihood for 85% of the population, with the poorest being the worst and the first hit. It is these people and their children who we have identified and target as the children who we accept into our home.

Our long-term plan is to purchase a plot of land, and build 5 Children Centres with maximum 10 children per house.
